Sir, as a working woman in Delhi, I have just one question. Sir, will I ever be safe? Sir, this is Delhi and in winters the stupid sun goes down around five thirty, and Sir, my office does not shut till six. Sir, this means I have to stay out till it gets dark, Sir. And I know now that nobody can guarantee my safety after dark. So what do I do, Sir? I’m confused. Please help, Sir.

When a girl gets molested or touched inappropriately, Sir, her body and mind shuts down. However and whatever anybody says you end up feeling dirty – mucky from the inside, Sir. And this is just molestation, Sir, which happens everyday. I don’t know and shudder to think what rape would feel like. Sir, I am not sure how much time it would take a woman to really get over it as they say. Sir, but I have been told rapists face no such issues. Sir, that’s why this guy from Uber, who raped in 2011, raped again. Sir, he was caught the first time I am told, but was on bail. Sir, he raped again. Sir, even if you hang him which is the harshest punishment, Sir, would you be hanging him for the first rape or day before’s? Because both are truly horrifying. Sir.

Sir, as the Prime Minister of this country, we as citizens look up to you for solutions. Sir, help, please… because as a radio jockey who talks for money, Sir, it seems I finally ran out of words.
