The drink combines veggie delights like carrots, spinach, parsley and celery to make a super healthy beverage that’s rich in fibre, helps maintain blood sugar levels and rich in potassium helping maintain the sodium levels in the body. Making this drink is no efforts at all. All you need to do is put the ingredients in the food processor, blend and enjoy. Add a few cubes of ice and your healthy veggie cooler is ready. Here’s how to make it.
Ingredients:
30 carrot sticks (cut into 2 1/2″ x 1/2″)
¼ cup spinach, chopped
¼ cup parsley, chopped (stems with leaves)
2 tbsp celery sticks, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
ice-cubes
Method:
1. Blend all the ingredients using little water (if required) till smooth.
2. Strain the juice using a strainer or a muslin cloth.
3. Add the lemon juice and mix well.
4. Add some crushed ice in 2 glasses and pour the juice over it. Serve immediately.
