Pesto Pani Puri to add flavour to festivities

With a whole lot of mithais being prepared to bring in the festivities we are sure that some of you are going to cringe by the thought of anymore sweets. Too much of anything causes an overdose which isn’t always liked. So, to keep the sweetness aside, we’ve brought you a chatpata chaat recipe of pesto pani puri that you can prepare for your hungry guests which drop by to give you the greetings of the season. Try it out this easy recipe with a continental twist and relish this fun snack.

Ingredients:

8 puffed round puris (Buy readymade from store)
40 gms pesto (store bought)
10 gms chickpeas
5 gms bell peppers
10 gms celery salt
10 ml red wine reduction

Method:

1 Boil chick peas and cut the bell peppers into small dices.

2 Make a mixture of the chick peas and bell peppers, season well and keep aside.

3 Make pesto water using ice water and little pesto.

4 Season with celery salt.

5 In a serving bowl, arrange the puris

6 Make a small opening in each puri and add some of the chick pea mixture.

7 Add two drops of red wine reduction.

8 Pour the pesto water in the puri and serve immediately.
