However, the comment section on Bollywood’s resident photographer, Viral Bhayani’s, Instagram page seems to have figured out the reason—the couple are expecting! While there is no confirmation from either Neha or Rohanpreet in this matter, netizens are confident about their conjecture.

Has reporting on celeb pregnancies changed?
As more and more visibility descends on our celebrities, there seems to be an urge to keep important matters, like pregnancies and weddings, under wraps for as long as possible. This emerging trend gives celebrities the agency to reveal personal news as and per their wishes.
When looking at Neha’s case, the public perception plays an important role. Not only does it reveal the inherent sexist expectations of a few, but also highlights our enhanced curiosity about celebrity life. Where does one draw the line?

Even if she is pregnant, folks…
The answer is live and let live. Even if Neha Kakkar is pregnant and she is choosing to keep it under wraps, we must allow her to do so 100%. We must allow our celebrities to be real people at some point instead of harassing them to reveal information that they might not want to disclose so early.
Additionally, the understanding that if a woman gains weight then she’s either pregnant or has let go of herself is a toxic duality that needs to be done away with in 2022. Women can be both and neither at the same time and, honestly, it’s all okay! The time has come to free our celebrities and our women from judgement.
