1.  The only source of aluminium intake will be if we use the cookware

MYTH

On average, humans tend to consume 10 milligrams of aluminium every day. Out of which, 95 per cent is through food intake. The rest 4-5 per cent is mostly due to the use of aluminium foils and utensils. Hindalco aluminium foils are super safe and convenient to store food items and will keep them fresh for a long time. 

2. WHO does not permit the intake of aluminium.

MYTH

According to the World Health Organization, the weekly intake of aluminium for an average human being of 60 kgs should be 120 milligrams.

3. Medicines Have Aluminum in them

FACT

Doctors recommended medicines for acidity like antacids have aluminium in them which means that consumption of aluminium is not hazardous at all. (if consumed in limits, of course). In fact, the process of water purification also uses aluminium salts.

4. Usage of Aluminum causes Alzheimer’s disease and cancer

MYTH

According to the World Health Organization, there has been no link found so far between the usage of aluminium and these diseases.
