Do you find it difficult to fall asleep? Especially if your partner is right beside you? It may sound weird, but there are couples who feel uneasy sharing a bed with each other. Now, that’s the first sign of a disintegrating relationship. Sleep is perhaps the happiest and the most important thing in most people’s lives. So if that part of you feels disturbed because of your partner’s presence, it’s a major concern. However, it’s not always easy to figure out whether your relationship has gone sour. Here are a few night-time habits that indicate your relationship is in danger.

1. Is your partner busy phubbing?

Is your partner more interested in scrolling through their Insta feed or Twitter, than engaging in a conversation with you at night? Our lives are ruled by social media, but the best time to have a conversation with your partner is before you hit the bed. Away from all the hustle and bustle, that’s when you can calm your mind, and have healthy and important discussions. You wait for the entire day to end just to manage some time with your partner before going to sleep. So, to see your partner engrossed on their phone rather than engaging with you is not a pleasant experience.

2. Not interested in how your day was?

It doesn’t take much to ask your partner about their day and how it went. If your partner is not interested in knowing about your day–how good or how bad it was–you know where your relationship is heading. It’s okay to miss out at times, but if this is happening on a regular basis, you should know your relationship is in danger.

3. Not getting intimate anymore?

Good sex life is often the driving force of a happy relationship. However, that doesn’t mean you have to have sex every day. But if days turn into months without you getting intimate with your partner, then it could be a sign that your relationship has lost the spark.

4. Are you always fighting over anything and everything?

Night-time is for you to cuddle. But instead, if you go to bed angry with each other, you need to work on your relationship. Fighting over minor issues will do you no good and only make you lose your sleep.

5. Do they prefer to sleep without any physical contact?

It depends from person to person, but some people prefer to sleep without any physical contact, while others love to cuddle. But if your partner avoids any sort of physical touch deliberately, then you know that the relationship is on its breaking point.
