6 Types Of Conversations Every Girl Has On Dating Apps

There are so many ways you can find love today. Gone are the days of bumping into your Raj on a train while you’re trapped in a coach–you can find it sitting under your blanket at home while binge watching DDLJ.

The thing is, we understand that there are a lot of guys that are good from far but far from good; and the best place to figure that out is on Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, or whatever other dating app you’re on. You see a cute boy, you swipe right and then he hits you with a DTF? What is your immediate reaction? D-I-S-G-U-S-T.

It’s honestly inevitable. You will come across a few patented conversations on these apps that’ll make you want to gag and relocate to another country. We’ve all been there and shamelessly done that.

Since we’ve already listed down the types of boys that you encounter on any dating app, here are the top six conversations you will find yourself in the middle of–even if you don’t to.

1. The generic Q

This is the guy that hits you with a quote about beauty and flowers, and nature and wilderness…  you get the drift. It’s downright weird and makes no sense when it comes to starting a conversation. Excuse me, but how to respond to ‘nature always finds a way into the soul’. Wait, what?

2.The tharaki

This one is Dhadak‘s elder brother. He comes with relatively good-looking boys who seem like they can get good girls, but chooses to be a douchebag instead. Every girl has that one match that goes, ‘hey, want to hook up?’ or something along those lines. Either super blatantly or a little blatantly, but blatantly nonetheless. None of them care if you’re actually looking for one or not. Ugh, next!

3. The bio-grapher

This type of conversation happens because the person has taken your bio to another level of deep. If you said not looking for anything serious, he will come back with the definition of what serious means, blah blah blah. We get it–it’s a good way to start a conversation, but you have to hit the right note otherwise bye bye baby.

4. Can you relate?

There will be one guy talking about how much he relates to your bio, your first few conversations, or even the backdrop of your picture. It’s ridiculous because it’s their life’s mission to make you feel like this could be it–your fictitious soulmate. Be flirty mate, dating apps aren’t really for prolonged life discussions friend.  For that there’s real life bro.

5. Bore-dumb

This guy is taking the conversation nowhere–he doesn’t want your instagram, he doesn’t want your number–he doesn’t even know what he wants. It’s quite confusing and there’s no way around it–even if you’ve tried your level best. So the conversation is pointless, even if it starts out with something witty.

6. Witty feed

This is the best kind of chat you can have on a dating app. Honestly, even if the guy isn’t the most attractive one around, a little witty banter makes everyone a few notches above the others. The funny responses, the sarcastic humour or the “would you rather” questions can take you a long way when it comes to making a real impact so buck up boys.
