You’re just a couple of days away from the weekend and all that fancy restaurant food. If you are one of those who wait till the weekend to eat lip-smacking food, then here’s what you need to try. Put on your chef’s apron and dish out this yummy olive and sun dried tomato crosstini which is extremely easy and even quick to make.

 

Cooking delicious food at home saves a lot of time as well as money, and it isn’t as much of a task either. Here’s the recipe for you ->

Ingredients:

6 slices of crusty bread brushed with olive oil

1/4 cup of slivers of sun dried tomatoes

1/4 cup of sliced black olives

1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese

1 tsp freshly chopped herbs

Salt & pepper to taste

Freshly chopped basil for garnish

 

Method:

1. In a bowl, add slivers of sun dried tomatoes and sliced black olives.

2. Add freshly chopped mixed herbs and salt and pepper to taste.

3. Toss all the ingredients together.


Tip:
For the flavours to seep in, this mix can be made the previous day as well.

4. Add 1-2 tbsp of the mixture on the crispy toast and 1 tsp of the grated mozzarella cheese.

5. Repeat the process with the slices of toast and bake in the oven for 5-7 mins.

6. Once out of the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves.
