Passages are an inevitable part of homes. They are the transitional areas of the home that take us from space to space. These are usually mundane spaces, but I believe these are the spaces that permit us go wild with ideas. Honestly speaking, you don’t really have to come out with out-of-the-box ideas when it comes to decor on a passageway. This is because passages are not wide enough to host larger pieces of furniture. Nevertheless, here are some of my ideas that would help you in sprucing up your passageway.
- Choose your home’s walls over Facebook! Use your passageway to tell your family story by framing photographs of old times and new.
- Use a gorgeous wallpaper in your passageway. It will add an instant oomph factor to the otherwise ordinary space.
- Put up the artefact or decor item you have collected over the years from your travels.
- For passageways outside your child’s room, make a height chart and keep a track of your kid’s growth by hanging their photographs as per their height.
- Use the walls of the passageway to put up quotes that the family believes in.
- You could also put up book shelves for smaller books. Prefer the ones with interesting book covers over the mundane ones.
